Submissions for Voxxed Days Amsterdam 2027 open on October 7. Whatever you have been building, a framework you pushed to its limits, an architecture you had to defend, an AI experiment that survived production, a lesson learned the hard way: the programme committee wants to read it. Seven tracks, first-time speakers as welcome as familiar names.
Get ready to submit early. Proposals that land in the first weeks get the most careful reads and go through the community review committee with the most eyes on them.

Voxxed Days Amsterdam
Same curiosity. New tools. Bigger possibilities.
Voxxed Days Amsterdam 2027 turns a cinema in Amsterdam North into the meeting place for developers, architects and builders shaping what software becomes next. The theme is on the poster: Episode III: The Return of the Engineer. AI agents, coding assistants and spec-driven workflows now sit inside the job. What did not change is the part that needs a person: reading the problem, choosing the shape of the solution, and standing behind it in production.
Two days: a hands-on workshop day on Wednesday 31 March, then the conference itself on Thursday 1 April: three stages, seven tracks. The newest Java and the JVM, data and AI that has to survive contact with real systems, architecture, DevOps, development practices, community and career, and the corner we call Mind the geek. Every session is recorded and published on the Devoxx YouTube channel, so what is said in Amsterdam does not stay in Amsterdam.

Part of something bigger
Voxxed Days belongs to the extended Devoxx family: conferences in Belgium, France, Poland, the UK, Morocco, Ukraine and Greece, plus fourteen Voxxed Days cities, around twenty thousand developers a year. Amsterdam is the Dutch chapter, organised by CodeLab with the country's Java user groups as ambassadors.
Cinema screens, cinema seats, food and drinks included, ten minutes from Centraal by metro, and a price that still makes sense next to the big conferences.

Pick the one that fits
A proposal lands better when it lands in the right place. Java and the JVM for the platform itself, Data & AI for what has to survive production, Architecture for the decisions people live with afterwards, DevOps for everything that runs at three in the morning.
Not sure which one? Submit anyway. The committee moves talks between tracks all the time; a good subject is never rejected for sitting in the wrong column.

Community review
Every proposal gets read
No proposal disappears into a queue. Each one is rated by the community review committee before the CFP board sees it: more than ten thousand reviews were cast for the 2026 edition alone.
It also works the other way round: you can join the committee, read what your peers want to talk about, and help decide what ends up on stage.
