Terms of participation

The attendance fee for the Codelab covers the activities, events, and schedules listed on the CodelabJUG meetup website.

 

All tickets are subject to Dutch VAT, which is 21% of the ticket price. This applies to all attendees, including those traveling from abroad, both EU and non-EU residents.

 

During registration, participants will be required to provide a payment method. Payment can be made via bank transfer, iDEAL or credit card. A VAT invoice or receipt will be generated for all transactions. Failure to pay promptly may result in denied entry to the event.

 

Tickets can be refunded (minus a 25 EUR admin costs ) if the notification is received within two weeks after purchasing the ticket.

 

However, you may transfer your ticket to another person until the codelab day. To do this, please contact us with the following information:

  • Your last name, first name, and email address.
  • The full contact details of the person taking over your ticket.

 

Registrants may send a substitute attendee if written notice is received prior to the conference. The conference organizers reserve the right to cancel any registration and will issue a full refund if this occurs. Please note that all event dates and times are subject to change. The organizer reserves the right to make adjustments to the schedule and activities for organizational or other reasons. In the unlikely event of the codelab being canceled, ticket fees will be refunded. However, no additional claims can be made against the organizer. Should the conference be postponed, registrations will remain valid.

 

By purchasing a ticket, or having one purchased on their behalf, all attendees agree to promote a safe and respectful environment at the codelab and adhere to the Codelab Code of Conduct. Attendees must refrain from engaging in illegal activities and acknowledge that they are solely responsible for their actions during the event.

 

Participant data is collected when they or an authorized agent completes the ticket purchase. This data is securely stored and used by the organizer to send updates regarding codelabs via email. Participants may opt out of future communications by following the links.

 

Participants also acknowledge that photos and videos may be taken during the codelab, which could include them. These photos and videos may be used on the Codelab website, CodelabJUG meetup page, and other related sites, social media platforms, streaming services (such as YouTube), and other related publications. By attending, participants agree that their image and voice may be used in such media.
