Imagine a highway that can’t easily be widened, yet has to handle more traffic every single day. That’s essentially the challenge our electricity grid is facing. Instead of waiting years for new infrastructure, we're developing software to avoid ‘traffic jams’ on the grid. By using market data, coordinating flexibility, and applying algorithms, we can keep the system stable without laying extra cables. In this session, I’ll show how making smarter use of the assets we already have helps to keep the lights on.
