What does your company specialize in from a technology perspective?
At Rabobank, Java is our most used language, powering a wide range of applications for banking purposes. Our banking application runs primarily on a Java backend, with extensive integrations between various teams. We focus on automating as much as possible to free up time for building innovative solutions.
As a large organization, we embrace numerous tools and technologies, including AWS, Azure, Axual (Kafka streaming), Kong (API gateway), and our very own Rabobank Online Portal (ROP). Our Senses Platform offers essential tools for frontend development, handling tasks like CI/CD pipelines, testing, state management, and translation services.
Additionally, our Cerebro framework for microservices on ROP centralizes and standardizes repetitive patterns across 150+ squads, streamlining application development. This approach allows us to focus on innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions to our customers. These are just a few examples of the interesting things we do.
