What motivates you to participate in Voxxed Days Amsterdam?

Participating in Voxxed Days allows us to stay ahead of emerging tech trends. We enjoy connecting with experts across domains, and sharing our own insights.

Voxxed and ING share the belief that innovation flourishes through open dialogue and collaboration. The event gives us a chance to share this with attendees through our talk on stage (by ING engineering lead Balkrishna Rawool) and by 4 micro talks from engineers at our booth.

We are excited to engage with talented professionals and explore ways we can collectively address challenges. Events like Voxxed Days are more than just conferences—they’re incubators for groundbreaking solutions and a space to inspire and be inspired. We look forward to seeing you there!

 

What does your company specialize in from a technology perspective?

We are building and rolling out scalable technology that provides value to our customers. ING has developed a reputable and well-regarded approach to innovation. Using technology to continuously improve our services and the customer experience always has and continues to be a key part of our strategy. Our aim is to create products and services that seamlessly provide solutions to our customers.

We are proud of what our engineers achieve, including several projects that are attracting attention from external engineers on GitHub. ING is keen to build on this and learn. We believe that the best way to grow is through a joint effort that brings bright minds together.

 

What is your main expertise, and how do you contribute to innovation?

As a leading digital bank enabled by technology, our priorities are around increasing productivity, customer experience and engineering experience. By reducing complexity we increase productivity and a shorter time to market. A technology foundation that is modular and scalable brings many benefits, including superior customer experience and safety.

Additionally, we are keen to do our bit and give something back to the global engineering community, because we believe that sharing and collaboration are essential to enable our tech projects to reach their full potential.
